Saint George’s School Marbella

St. George’s School is owned and directed by husband and wife team Andrew and María José Mardlin who, in 1996, founded the school in the quiet and tranquil surroundings of Cortijo Blanco, close to Marbella. Their dream was to found a school that provided a top quality British style education for children aged 3 to 8 years while, at the same time, giving the Spanish language the importance it deserves. Since its doors opened 23 years ago, with 45 pupils, the school has built on its success and now provides the best educational practice for pupils up to the age of 8, through a dedicated academic and auxiliary staff all of whom share the directors’ philosophy. The children work within the guidelines of the British National Curriculum and the Law of Spanish Education. Past students have successfully transferred to either English or Spanish language schools, both locally and abroad.
